»Pankow as a Motif« – Max Skladanowsky – Film Pioneer and Photographer

Museum Pankow presents a revival of the exhibition "Pankow as a Motif. Max Skladanowsky – Film Pioneer and Photographer." This exhibition delves into the less-known photographic works of the renowned cinema pioneer. Originally shown in 2014 to mark the 40th anniversary of the Heynstraße 8 museum location, the presentation is recreated within the historic living spaces dating back to around 1900. It features a curated selection of photographic images that capture Pankow as a motif, offering a unique historical and artistic perspective on the district through Skladanowsky's lens. Admission is free.
