Monument of Oblivion: River of Lethe

For the 2025/26 program, a jury selected artist Neda Saeedi to create a site-specific installation for the Klosterruine. This sound installation explores the complex nature of commemoration in historical spaces. Through her work, Saeedi invites visitors to reflect on questions of collective memory: Who is remembered, and who is excluded? The installation challenges us to confront violent histories and the absence of monuments, encouraging a deeper dialogue with the past to help shape our collective future.
