Malplaquetstraße 33 – Youth of an Assembly Worker

In the spring of 2026, Galerie Wedding presents the solo exhibition 'Malplaquetstraße 33 – Youth of an Assembly Worker' by Ahu Dural. The exhibition uses a single apartment as a starting point for an artistic exploration of family history, migration, and female solidarity. 'Assembly' is interpreted here not only as the manual labor performed by migrant women in Berlin’s electrical industry but also as an aesthetic process of artistic creation. It is a thought-provoking look at the intersection of labor and personal narrative.
