About

Join us for an insightful lecture on Friedrich Spielhagen, a friend and colleague of the famous writer Theodor Fontane. Although 20th-century literary criticism largely neglected Spielhagen's work, he led a remarkable life and became one of the most significant writers of his era following his arrival in Berlin in 1862. Lecturer Hans Belde will explore Spielhagen's life and his major social novels. Please note that advance registration is required for this event, and there is an entry fee of €5.00.
