Missing St. Moritz - History of a Lost Church

This exhibition at the Gotisches Haus delves into the history of the St. Moritz church in Spandau, believed to be one of the oldest churches in the Berlin city area. Dating back to approximately 1180, the site began as a wooden church with a cemetery before evolving into a stone structure in the 13th century. The exhibition offers a rare look at the archaeological and historical narrative of this lost landmark. Opening on March 18th, the event features experts including archaeologist Dr. Torsten Dressler and museum director Dr. Urte Evert.
