Rey Akdogan "Carousels"

Rey Akdogan, born in Heilbronn and based in New York, investigates materials and imaging processes that shape our visual present. Her work examines how atmospheres and moods are created, how color, light, and material properties influence perception, and the technical and economic conditions that generate these processes. Often taking on site-specific forms, her works hover between projection, sculpture, and installation, creating immersive environments that challenge our visual experiences.
