English Language Book Club

The Philipp-Schaeffer-Bibliothek invites literature enthusiasts to join a monthly book club held entirely in English. Starting this April, the group will meet every second Wednesday of the month to share impressions of selected literary works. The club is led by literary scholar Neil Bristow, who brings his expertise in English literature and creative writing from Dublin. For the inaugural meeting, the group will discuss Kazuo Ishiguro's celebrated novel 'The Remains of the Day.' It is a fantastic opportunity to practice English and engage in deep cultural discussions.
