Malplaquetstraße 33 – Youth of a Female Mechanic

Galerie Wedding presents "Malplaquetstraße 33 – Youth of a Female Mechanic," a solo exhibition by Ahu Dural. This exhibition uses an apartment as the starting point for an artistic exploration of family history, migration, labor, female solidarity, and appropriation. "Montage" is presented not only as the manual labor of migrant women working in Berlin's electrical industry but also as an aesthetic procedure. The exhibition delves into personal narratives, societal structures, and the artistic interpretation of these themes.
