'Colonial Biographies from Lichtenberg' – New Workshop Exhibition at Museum Lichtenberg

Building on previous exhibitions and publications that explored the colonial connections of Gut Friedrichsfelde and the Karlshorst Buren Quarter, this new workshop exhibition at the Museum Lichtenberg im Stadthaus uncovers another little-known facet of Lichtenberg's links to German colonialism. The focus is on the life stories of individuals from Lichtenberg who were entangled with German colonial history in Asia and Africa. These include a politician, a nurse, a veterinarian, and others, offering a unique glimpse into personal experiences shaped by a complex and often difficult past.
