Weirder, Taller, Uglier, Louder – Feral Possible

Opening at the Bärenzwinger, this exhibition explores the concept of 'weeds' and what we can learn from these resilient, often overlooked plants. The exhibition examines wild growth in both a literal and metaphorical sense, using the Bärenzwinger—with its history as a former bear enclosure—as a powerful setting. By reflecting on humanity's desire to control nature, the project invites visitors to consider alternative ways of relating to our environment. Artist Ran, who is based in Berlin, brings a unique perspective on urban nature to this historic space.
