Malplaquetstraße 33 – Youth of a Fitter

Galerie Wedding presents Ahu Dural's solo exhibition, "Malplaquetstraße 33 – Youth of a Fitter," in spring 2026. The exhibition uses an apartment as a starting point to artistically explore family history, migration, work, female solidarity, and appropriation. 'Mounting' is interpreted not only as the manual labor of migrant women working on assembly lines in Berlin's electro-industry but also as an aesthetic process. This exhibition offers a powerful reflection on personal narratives, labor, and identity within a specific historical and social context.
