Heaven on Earth – To My Dearest Foot Skin

This unique exhibition at Galerie Nord explores the cultural and symbolic significance of the human foot throughout history. Once a vital organ for survival, the foot has accumulated a vast array of meanings in various artistic and spiritual traditions. The show specifically looks at the tension between physical reality and symbolic interpretation, incorporating traditional Chinese concepts of Qi and meridians. Within this framework, the soles of the feet are seen as sensitive energetic zones that connect humans to the earth.
