Female Being, Intellectually Versatile, Seeks – Helga Goetze

In 1983, the feminist magazine COURAGE noted the difficulty in approaching Goetze, yet featured her interview, describing her as an "older woman standing on the street... shouting the word 'Fuck' at everyone." At 61, she was establishing herself as an "unavoidable disruptor" in 1980s West Berlin through provocative actions, holding almost daily vigils near the Gedächtniskirche.
