Monument of Oblivion: River of Lethe

Artist Neda Saeedi presents a site-specific sound installation titled River of Lethe within the atmospheric ruins of the Klosterruine. The project explores how historical sites shape our collective memory and who is often excluded from these narratives. Saeedi’s work questions how we deal with violent histories and the absence of physical monuments. By engaging with the past, the installation invites visitors to reflect on how we might better shape the future. The unique setting of the medieval ruins adds a haunting depth to the auditory experience.
