MOMENT – Paintings by Klaus Walter

In this exhibition at Studio im HOCHHAUS, artist Klaus Walter explores the built environment and the human place within it. His work focuses on architecture in a broad sense, looking at the spaces created by buildings rather than just the structures themselves. The paintings feature interior and exterior spaces, as well as detailed examinations of architectural ornamentation. Interestingly, the people for whom these spaces are built often appear only as bystanders or onlookers. Their presence in Walter’s work often conveys a sense of being lost within the grand scale of architecture.
