Malplaquetstraße 33 – Youth of an Assembly Worker

In the spring of 2026, Galerie Wedding presents 'Malplaquetstraße 33 – Youth of an Assembly Worker,' a solo exhibition by Ahu Dural. The project uses a specific apartment as a starting point to explore themes of family history, migration, labor, female solidarity, and appropriation. Assembly is examined not only as manual work performed by migrant women in Berlin's electrical industry, but also as an aesthetic process. This exhibition offers a compelling look at the intersection of private history and systemic labor.
