Monument of Oblivion: River of Lethe

Artist Neda Saeedi was selected by a jury to create a site-specific sound installation for the Klosterruine, reflecting on how we remember at historic sites. The work questions who is remembered, who is excluded, and how we handle violent histories or absent monuments. Through this immersive audio piece, Saeedi prompts visitors to consider whether we are engaging with the past in a way that truly shapes our future. Set against the atmospheric backdrop of the monastery ruins, it is a profound reflection on collective memory.
