About

For the 2025/26 program year, artist Neda Saeedi was selected to create a site-specific work at the Klosterruine. Her sound installation delves into the complex question of how we commemorate historical places. Saeedi probes: 'Who is remembered, who is excluded, and how do we deal with violent history or missing monuments? Do we confront the past in such a way that we can shape the future?' This thought-provoking exhibition invites visitors to reflect on memory, absence, and the active process of constructing our historical understanding.
